Five things move a stone quote: the stone itself (marble, travertine and limestone behave differently from granite or terrazzo), its condition (etching, staining, scratches, lippage between tiles), the finish you want (matte hone versus mirror crystallisation), the area and access (furniture moving, upper floors, overnight scheduling), and whether sealing and protection are included or quoted as extras.
